Emily graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelors of Art in political science in 2008. She received her Juris Doctorate in 2013 from Widener University School of Law.
Beginning in 2011, Emily began working as a Law Clerk in Pennsylvania; thereafter, Emily was admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania in 2014. Although enjoying her time in Pennsylvania, Emily always had a desire to return to her hometown of Chestertown. In 2017, Emily was admitted to practice law in Maryland, then joining HoonBlitzer as an associate attorney.
She practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation, administrative law, real estate, estate planning, estate administration, business law, contract law and drafting documents for partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies and non-profit corporations.
Emily is a member of the American Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Emily’s personal interests include the theatre, reading, cooking, and traveling. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
